The Sport Is
Closed

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen have publicly called out the financial crisis in grassroots motorsport. Some families spend up to $1 million per year on youth karting. This barrier locks out the majority of talented kids based on income — not ability.

While most sports are affordable at the entry level, the average family doesn't even get a chance to try motorsport. The next great champion may never find a starting line.

  • Competition karts cost $5,000–$10,000+ before engines, tires & consumables
  • Entry fees, coaching & travel add $30,000–$100,000 per season
  • Equipment spending rewards budgets — not talent
  • Millions of kids who love racing never get a chance to compete

Grid Zero Changes
Everything

Grid Zero is a zero-cost-to-family international karting championship — gender and disability inclusive — launching simultaneously in the United States and the United Kingdom. Every expense normally borne by families is absorbed by the series — funded entirely by brand sponsorship.

🎫
Lottery Entry
Any eligible young driver can apply. Selection is random, giving every applicant a genuine shot regardless of background, geography, physical ability, or family income.
🏎
Spec Karts Provided
The series owns and maintains identical karts for every competitor, including adaptive hand-control karts for drivers with lower body disabilities. No equipment advantage. No spending war. The fastest driver wins — full stop.
✈️
All Travel Covered
Flights, hotels, and ground transport for drivers and a guardian are covered by Grid Zero at every stage — regional, national, and the World Final.
🏆
Merit Progression
Top performers advance from regional rounds to national finals to the World Championship. Performance determines progression. Nothing else.
A Note To Motorsport Figures

We Are Not
Asking For Money

Grid Zero is structured to be fully funded by brand sponsorship — not donations, not personal investment, not charity. What we are looking for is a prominent figure in motorsport who shares a passion for fixing this broken system and is willing to serve as an Advisor, Co-Founder, or Director.

Lending your voice, credibility, and network to a movement that is long overdue costs nothing. The impact would be immeasurable. If that resonates with you — we want to hear from you at alex@gridzerokarting.com

One World.
One Champion.

Grid Zero launches simultaneously in the US and UK, running alternating weekends from March through November. A US National Champion and a European Champion are crowned before the top 10 from each territory meet at the World Final.

Pilot season: Ages 10–14. Year 2 expands to junior (8–10) and senior (15–17) tiers. Year 3 goes fully global — 20+ cities across all major continents, creating a direct path to F1, IndyCar, and the pinnacles of professional motorsport. Adaptive drivers compete in the same field as all other competitors, noted on timing sheets and driver profiles. The grid is open to everyone.

Launching US & UK — Growing to 20+ cities across every continent — A direct path to F1, IndyCar & the pinnacle of motorsport

"His dream did not lack talent.
It lacked access."

— Alexander, Founder  |  Las Vegas, NV

I have been a motorsport fan for over 14 years. My passion for the sport transferred to my family — my son often said he wanted to race cars. When he was 10 years old, we tried to find a way to get him into karting. We simply could not afford it.

He has a natural racing ability. The cost to compete has prevented him from pursuing his dream. If a platform like Grid Zero had existed, he may have had a chance.

Grid Zero is built for every family that has lived that moment — every kid whose talent was real but whose opportunity never came. Every child who was told the sport wasn't for someone like them. That changes now.

Four Perspectives.
One Vision.
